·         Radar Keys seem to be working well, since it was mentioned the ball boys no longer seem to be using the disabled toilets.

·         If a disabled season ticket holder can not attend a game, then priority is given to rota members. If we have availability then their escort would be able to purchase the tickets for the match, through the disability department. We would need the disabled person where possible to contact us asap if they are unable to attend a game.

Can you take bottles into ground

Anybody can take plastic 500ml bottles into the stadium without lids. It was comment that sometimes the stewards do take the lids off. The general answer is all tops will be removed as per the club regulations. You can purchase drinks at the kiosk and take in into the stadium, but lids will also be remove.

Other Business

  1. In the Mega store near the entrance there are steps. The stairs are for the staff offices and are not for public access.
  2. Do we have special stewards working in the disability areas. We try to have the same stewards in these areas. Stewarding placement is arranged by Jill Dawson, she will know who is best qualified for which area.
  3. When disabled members arrive late and the players are warming up it is almost impossible for them to get to their seats as crowds congregate along the front. We are unable to ask them to sit down until kick-off. We will raise the question again with stewards to see if they can ask people to move on as disabled members can not see or gain access.
  4. We are improving and adding new signage around the stadium.  There is also a designated drop-off point and disabled parking near the Millennium Hotel. The drop off point and car parking can only be accessed while the road is open which is controlled by the police. The road can be closed up to 2 hours prior to kick-off and only reopened up to 2 hours after kick-off. The road assess is completely controlled by the police and is not at all influenced by Chelsea FC.
  5. The fixture list will be published within the next month.
  6. For match members,  we do not accept early applications ahead of tickets going on sale. We are very strict on this to be fare to our disabled members. Full match details can be found on the website. We always recommend if posting an application to send it in Friday’s post prior to going on sale on the Monday. This will ensure it will not arrive too early.
