Minutes of previous meeting.

·         CD Programme – we have pricing. If we do go ahead, similar to Arsenal we will require members to purchase an annual subscription. As an alternative we have an online Programme works similar to the online Magazine that is available now. For the beginning of next season we hope to have CD programme operational.

·         Away Allocation, 2 more votes were received in favour of Disabled Season Ticket Holders receiving priority. Policy will stay the same for new season

·         Chelsea FC are looking to put signs in the West Lower to advice supporters that there are disabled Supporters in the stand and by running to the front they will be impairing members views. It was suggested that non-ambulant be placed at an end of an aisle seat, but as we feel most members prefer to sit more centrally. Members will be allocated seating on the most central seat available unless stated otherwise.

Letter in Programme

Letter submitted by CDSA to go in program, no letters are printed for the disabled and non-disabled supporters. Some of what the letter states we can transfer and get it put into the renewal letter for Memberships and Season Tickets. Maybe put something in the Magazine, this will need to be taken up with Programme Master who are an external company whom do our magazine. We will forward on Matthew’s details and get them to get in touch as to what they would like to do for the programme.

Advertising of CDSA

CDSA is advertised on our website, rota letters, match members letter and will next season be advertised on the season ticket letter. CDSA is also advertised on the disabled page of the website, which has all disability related queries, FAQ’s, Ticket Information, Facilities Information and a Link to the CDSA website. Currently the Official Supporters Clubs have banners going up around the stadium. CDSA will be able to have their own banner, the cost of the banner would be down to the CDSA themselves and not Chelsea FC. To avoid disappointment banners need to be approved by Chelsea FC before printing, all banners need to have relevant safety certificates. Banner without the certificate and not approved/doesn’t follow brand guidelines will not go up.

Extension of the Elevated Platform

Unfortunately the platform will not be able to be extended due to the materials it’s been made with; the platform will not be able to take the additional weight of the extension and bodies. Chelsea FC is having an access report done, and will inform the CDSA of any changes which will need to happen as an outcome to this.

Policy Changes

CDSA were asked if they wished to put forward and changes to the policy for the new season as told Chelsea they were happy with the policy and did not want any changes.

Cracking Matchday commentary

This could be due to the battery being flat in the headset. Was told to collect a new headset for the disabled department on a matchday and let us know if the problem continues.

New CDSA Committee

It’s almost the end of the 2 years of the current CDSA committee. All members/season tickets holders will be sent an application in January to apply to sit on the CDSA committee this will not only yet again promote and make awareness of the CDSA. The current CDSA will have a meeting with the new CDSA at the last meeting for the season.

Cobham Trip

We are looking into a trip to Cobham. There is also talk from the fans forum as to whether or not tours of the training ground can be done.  If we do a special disabled tour, we’d like the CDSA’s input as to how it will be decided as to whom would go, what would be the fairest way to decide. Also facilities need to be taken into account. Would only be a small group. It was also reiterated, that the tour would be for the tour of the grounds and would not be a signing session, if there happened to be players on the day it would be a bonus, but is more likely to be held on days that the players are not scheduled to play.

Disabled Toilets

It was mentioned that the disabled toilet lights were not allowing enough time in the toilets for disabled members. We will get the time extended on the sensor for all toilets.
