Disabled Toilets used by club ball boys and photographers and other fans

It’s after the match the East Lower toilets are being used by non-disabled supporters. We will get this looked into as toilets stewards are placed elsewhere for stadium evacuation after the game.

Program on CD

Getting an alternative program is expensive we don’t mind paying the money for a service that will be used. CDSA were asked to do a poll to find out what the uptake would be. Do disabled members want an alternative format other then the hard copy? If yes would they prefer online version or audio?

Disabled visit to Cobham

If the trip goes ahead, it will be in the closed season and their will be no first team players at the ground. The idea of the trip will be to see Cobham, not to see players and have things signed. Will look at maybe offering it to the CDSA as we took the fans forum. If we only take disabled members, non-disabled members may complain that we are discriminating against them.  At the next CDSA meeting, the CDSA will be informed of the plans for the closed season.

CDSA in magazine

We have still not had an article about the CDSA in the Magazine. Will look at maybe having someone come round at the next meeting, when we have the changeover from old to the new CDSA committee. CDSA were also asked to think about what they would like cover in the magazine.

Matthew Harding Lift

It was mentioned the Lift to the Mathew Harding Platform was out of order for a while. This was due to Maintenance awaiting a part to fix it over the Christmas period. The lift is now in full working order.

Other Business

  1. Matchday security checks

It’s been brought to our attention that disabled members are not being searched on a matchday. This is something that will be passed onto our head of security.

  1. Champions League Away Coach Travel – Thomas Cook

The Inter Milan trip was the first to have the wheelchair access lift coach. It’s received a positive feedback from non-ambulant members who used the coach.
