ITEM

ACTION

1

Minutes of previous meeting.

·         Matthew handed all members a information sheets on the CDSA history so that new members know what the CDSA has all achieved

·         Ticketing Policy for new season all members old and new are happy with the current policy

·         Mobile food stands will be implemented in the West Lower in the new season. They are very helpful, but members need to be there early enough.

2

Matters Arising.

Some Season Ticket Holders are not using their seats for the smaller games, just leaving them unused. We will be able to monitor more closely in the new season with our new entry system.

3

Introductions

All new members gave a short introduction on themselves to the committee, a response form the existing committee members followed.

4

Disabled Weekly Newsletter

There is already a newsletter which goes to all supporters, 90% of the newsletter is news about the club and players the other 10% is ticketing information which covers all supporters disabled and non-disabled.

5

Can Disabled have completely separate newsletter

What will go in the letter? If we can fill a letter we can look at maybe doing one quarterly. Will discuss possible information to go into a letter at the next meeting, if enough content is avaliable and is viable we will look into doing one.

Radar Keys

Thank you to the club, as the radar keys system is working well. It has however been noticed especially for champions league games that staff and ball boys are using the toilets. This is not meant to be occurring and will be mentioned and looked into.

7

Adjustment to seating as Disability progresses

If any Season Ticket holders medical situation changes disabled or non-disabled, needs moving for medical reason we will always try our best to accommodate them to meet their needs.

8

If Disabled ST Holder unable to attend can their escort.

If the Disabled Season Ticket Holder is unable to attend a match can their escort still attend, Yes, but they would be required to pay for their seat. The same applies if the disabled Season Ticket Holder is unable to attend any more matches, the escort will be given the option to purchase their seat as a non-disabled season ticket holder.

9

Mobile Refreshments should only be for disabled members/season ticket holders.

It was brought up that the people serving at the mobile refreshments were serving non-disabled members too. There are difficulties with this and we cannot refuse to serve non-disabled as we will then be discriminatory against other supporters.

10

Can Disabled ST move seats

As a company we are not doing any moves at Stamford Bridge for this season. We will however move anyone who requires moving for medical reasons.

11

More signs for external toilets in underground parking

We are aware that on match-days there are fans that refrain form using toilets provided and instead go against the nearest wall. This is an ongoing problem which is fuelled by large consumption of alcohol, more signs directing members where toilets are unlikely to make them use them. This is something we will continue to tackle to the best we possible can.

12

Can old members still receive NADS Report

All CDSA members are able to sign up themselves online to receive the report to them direct. But if they would like Matthew to continue sending it to them, he may continue to do so with their consent.

13

Dedicated Lower Counters

This is something we are looking into for the new season; we will be implementing the mobile refreshments stands in the West Lower which will also help disabled members in that area.

14

Stewarded lanes in food outlet closest to disabled areas

This was covered as part of item 9

15

Can club write official letter to UEFA on behalf of CDSA complaining about Fenerbache Away

We know that Fenerbache were late in notification on disabled allocation. This was rectified in the end. Letters have been sent to UEFA already.

Other Business

  1. Disabled Away travel, are wheelchair spaces available. No, as the demand is not there
  2. Lift Passes – are they needed? Yes they are, for safety security reasons. All season ticket holders who require them need to re-apply each season with Jill Dawson our Safety Officer
  3. Photographers blocking the view of disabled member in the West Lower, can they be moved? No they can not as it is the only place available for them, and for Champions League there are more and we have to accommodate them in the Shed Lower and Matthew Harding Lower as well.
  4. West Lower, have problems getting to seats as crowds watching pre-match warm up. This is an ongoing issue, and as previously stated we are unable to ask people to sit until kick-off.
  5. Customer Service Counter in Megastore – queue barriers are restrictive.
